Key Responsibilities:
Security Strategy: Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across the organization, ensuring proactive measures are in place to protect assets and data.
Compliance Assurance: Oversee compliance with relevant regulations and standards, conducting audits and assessments as necessary to maintain adherence.
Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to effectively mitigate security incidents.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the security of outsourced systems and processes.
Security Awareness: Promote a culture of security awareness and best practices among employees, providing training and resources as needed.
Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and solutions to enhance the organization’s security posture.
Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates and reports to executive leadership on security status, incidents, and initiatives.
Qualification Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior cybersecurity leadership role, preferably as a CISO or equivalent.
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, standards, regulations, and best practices.
Strong understanding of risk management, compliance, and incident response frameworks.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent.
Experience working in virtual or remote environments is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
